One time on a trip to DC...

I found myself popping up from the Smithsonian Metro Stop in the middle of the national atheist convention on The Mall. Which I find it kind of curious they had a convention to discuss how much they didn't believe in stuff, but I did like the guy dressed as Jesus on a dinosaur.
Predictably, there was a Christian group set up near them screaming about how they were all going to hell. Which is even more curious you would give up your Saturday to go yell at someone's convention for not believing the same stuff you do.
But the best group as the small one yelling at both of them to prepare for the coming of Cthulhu.
And a few casual pastafarians.

Yelling at them for that is pretty mild, really.

I'll never get inside the head of someone who would be that upset over someone else not holding the same beliefs, whether yelling at them or going to war with them.

Agnostic here. Grew up going to a Methodist church.
Also, like all the other agnostics and atheists, I don't think we need to band together against Christians or see them as enemies like some of the ones on this board do for us. Just mind your business and I'll mind mine.
Which means booze sales on Sunday.

I’ve been blessed with so many things in my life that I do not deserve. That is called Grace. It come my directly from my lord. I am Christian and I wish I walked the walk better than I do.

A Christian could say this exact sentence, but then again, so could literally any religion.
I’ve been blessed with so many things in my life that I do not deserve. That is called [INSERT WORD USED IN THAT PARTICULAR RELIGION]. It comes my directly from my [DEITY]. I am [RELIGION] and I wish I walked the walk better than I do.
Nothing about what you said is specifically Christian.

One could also say the same for simple happenstance
I’ve been blessed with so many things in my life that I do not deserve. [IDK why or how, but YAY!]. I am [Non RELIGION] and I wish I walked the walk better than I do.

I've been a "none"/non-believer/atheistic for most of my adult life. However, I'm not anti-theist - there is a difference. My journey has been interesting and has brought clarity over time. Learning to say "I don't know" has had a big impact (for me). Studying logic, philosophy and working on my critical thinking skills has shaped my perspectives. It hasn't been easy, living in the deep South as most (almost all) that live here were born here (or near) and that dictates worldviews more than most any other factor. If you're born in X, you've likely been raised Y, etc. Anyway, I wish nothing but the best to my fellow humans. Go Tigers (all of you)!!

Grew up southern baptist and still go to church but I’ve been skeptical since high school. I’d consider myself agnostic.
