then it’s safe to assume that he is in support of Brownell staying.
Even if you don’t trust Neff, the Clemson Board of Trustees, or anyone else in leadership at Clemson who likes and trusts Brownell to be our basketball coach, can you at least trust Dabo?

Our fans should support our coaches and the administrators who feel that they are qualified to remain in their positions.
Our fans should also realize that Dabo doesn’t make all decisions for Clemson athletics.
But since many of our fans evidently believe that they know more than our basketball coaches and athletic department administrators, and also believe that Dabo runs Clemson, perhaps asking them to trust Dabo on this one is the only option left.

with my own eyes, and I don't need anyone to interpret that for me, try to sell me a bill of goods, or try to convince me that with more time CBB can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. It ain't gonna happen.
It's not those of us who are sick and tired or being sick and tired. It's the administration and some fans who need to take their heads out of the sand and start doing what is in the best interest of Clemson University.
What it all boils down to is this; after 13 years, everyone knows exactly what were going to get with CBB leading the program. If the powers that be are content with inconsistency and mediocrity, then CBB is definitely their guy.
As I have said before, if the university is not willing to spend the money necessary to bring in an experienced well-established coach with a track record of success, as opposed to another mid-major experimental-type coach, then we might as well keep CBB.
It certainly appears that might be the prevailing opinion.

Interesting bc you've questioned every hire Dabo has made at co-ordinator. Don't be a hypocrite unless that's what you really are, then be who you are.

We should pay Dabo double to be the basketball coach as well. At least he would bring in some solid high school recruits and not have to rely on the transfer portal.

You know when it really truly comes down to it, we all know that Dabo doesn’t have any total say in the basketball job. The only, and I mean only thing he’d have some involvement in could be in relevance to the financial decisions about the basketball facilities.
You and every other person who thinks Brad is this coach who is truly “better” than he’s shown and is leading this program forward is wrong. Why can I say you’re wrong? Look at the last 13 years.
I want you, JK, to go on Wikipedia or wherever, and go look at each year’s result since 2010(Brads 1st full year). I will full heartedly applaud the Sweet 16, although that team with another coach could’ve won it all. But look at our records for each year. You’re looking at mediocrity.

Judge, you’re lashing out at ghosts. Dabo isn’t basketball’s problem. You’re going to have to accept that although CBB is a decent coach, we want better than decent. We want good or even better than good.

I think jks insult of the women’s softball players got him a bunch of down votes. Also the one where he criticized Bresee sister charity and other charity drives was pretty bad too. Of course his constant jealous jabs at Dabo also earn him down votes for being a tool.
His list is long and getting longer.

How can anyone even talk about firing someone that won 23 games and set a school record for acc conference wins? How is this even a question? What new coach would come here where the expectations dont match reality?
Do we really want to be alabama or the sec with all their off the court issues? Brad has been here a long time and we have never been in trouble. I don’t want to sell my soul for championships.
Maybe we can use the NIT to springboard to tournament next year. We are close i think.

Expectations are simple - make the NCAAT with some semblance of regularity (like 50%???). 3/13 is not acceptable by any reasonable standard.
It's not like we have to choose "clean program" or "good program". We can have both.
"We are close I think"...that's coot motto right there. AKA "wait until next year!".

Still how do you justify firing a COY candidate, won 23 games, set school record etc??
If NCAA or bust we should have cut bait much earlier with brad. Thats a different argument. Now that he has done this you cant fire him now.
Its like no one considered the scenario that enough was done to keep job, but not selected for ncaas

Odd. Dabo has a record of replacing coaches. Maybe they want someone to keep the status quo so that we can focus on football?
