Simpsonville-If anyone's looking for National Champ Coke

Jan 23, 2019, 3:00 PM

cans. Citgo gas station at 602 NE Main St. in Simpsonville has a good number of them as of 1/23 @ 2 PM next to the checkout. Make sure you remember to drink them or drill a hole in the bottom at some point, or they'll likely leak.

I know this is a kind of dumb question, but since I have a can from 2016 that hasn't leaked yet, I am curious. When they leak, are they leaking from the bottom, or are they swelling and where the hole you drink through leaks? If it is through the bottom, holy mackerel, is the Coke eating through the can? YIKES! I have a six pack already, and don't want any problems. Thanks, in advance, for any help.

Ours leaked mainly through the tab

on top I believe, but it wasn't very obvious for some. They were kept in a room with heat and air, and one day, we noticed a moldy sludge from them. Several cans were practically empty. I wouldn't trust them to hold up for years.

They should be out almost everywhere. Walmart in Anderson has them for under 2 dollars a six pack.
Oh, I have a six-pack from 2016, no leakage yet.

Just bought 2 six packs at Publix in downtown Greenville (on E. McBee Ave.) and they had a decent amount left. Limit of 2 per customer.

I still have the 81 cans and no leakage. Some did, but most have not.

My 16 can leaked out at some point. Just picked up a sixer of the 18 cans at the BI-LO in Lyman. Probably going to drill a hole this time.
