Simple solution to Haitian migrant border crisis ...

Let them listen to CNN, MSNBC, all woke media and democrat politicians rant about how racist and oppressive the U.S. is to minorities, particularly those of African descent, for a few days, and they should pack up and high-tail it back to Haiti to escape the horrors they are about to face here.

I always thought it was interesting that a country that was so racist and sexist would have more immigrants than any other country in the world.

As an individual who travels to these countries I'll tell you why
1) everyone knows we export the "American dream" everywhere. So there's that; but 2) nearly all countries have the same levels of racism and sexism that America has (and often higher). But we are willing to talk about it. Address it. Try and make it better
This second point is the important one. Other countries still aren't willing to address their issues. America is. This is why it's SO important we don't sweep these issues under the rug and pretend they don't exist.
You have to be open about it. Talk about it. Argue about it so these people who have been oppressed forever feel that they can have a voice. Otherwise we are no better than anyone else.

If someone tells me that there may be some racism in the current US and any amount of racism is unacceptable - I'm on board. If someone tells me that the current US is a really racist country (like some people try to sell), I can't take that person seriously as a thinking human being. I will not tolerate discrimination around me, and that includes discrimination used to try to fight discrimination.

Seems an arbitrary difference between "some" and "really". whats the inflexion point to go from "some" to "really"?

Yeah, but only from one angle. No one ever talks about black racism toward whites or Hispanic racism toward blacks or any other racism at all. It's a one way street and one way only.

Like most problems, you have to tackle the biggest problem first, which is white racism against black individuals. We still haven't addressed that adequately enough. We need to continue the dialogue.
Then we can address the issues you want to speak to. Black on Vietnamese. Mexican on Puerto Rican. etc

Gotta disagree here.
Most whites are willing to live and let live now - which certainly didn't use to be the case. (There are certainly some exceptions but the majority of folks are uncomfortable with overt racism.)
What you're talking about now isn't racism, per se, so much as overcoming stereotyping - which I will admit is still a thing, black people are often assumed inferior and suspect unless proven otherwise - and increasing the comfort level and dialogue all races have with one another. That goes a bunch of different ways...and it's hard to start the conversation when it's just assumed only white people are guilty of anger, stereotyping, and projection. The black community is wearing a sense of victimhood that's being fed by the mainstream media and it isn't productive.
Forget about "reparations", by the way. That's a non-starter. I'll be all about doing my best to provide equality of opportunity, the outcome is still on each individual.
I've also said America is a lot more guilty of classism than actual racism. A black celebrity with gobs of money will get vastly better (and unequal) treatment over somebody perceived as white trash, even by white cops. As a society we respect green (and perceived social status) a lot more than black and white.
We do indeed need to switch our language, and better our dialogue...and that comes from both directions.

Exactly. I have been continuing the conversation because it's important.

The US is one of the least racist countries in the world. People are racist AF all over Europe.
Ironically, the most racist and bigoted people in America RIGHT NOW are black people. I'm probably going to get called a racist for that comment, but it is completely true in my experience.

This is the fallacy. America isn't "the least" ... generally racism is pretty much the same everywhere.
But we are willing to discuss it. That's what we have to continue to do.

We're less than 60 years removed from the passing of the Civil Rights Act. Many of the players from that time are still alive. And you think we still don't have a major problem racism here?
Where's your empirical evidence that black people are the most racist and bigoted people in America right now?

The ONLY reason Dems want these 'oppressed' people to come to America is to curry favor for their party and vote Democrap.
Anybody that thinks vicious people like Pelosi, Waters and Cryin' Chuckie give a rat's a$$ about them, other than their votes, is seriously delusional. They want them to be subjected to the way African-Americans have been treated by the Dems for decades. That is, give out freebies, welfare and keep the masses dependent on the government, so that they're obligated to vote for Dems.
Have Dems ever attempted to advance blacks? Of course not. He!! no! They're more worse off than they were decades ago. Suppressed and dependent on the government is the Dem Game Plan. Always will be. Power is their drug of choice.

Another solution would be for right wing radio and social media to quit the lie that we have "open borders" and we're letting everyone in.

Seriously, you think the border isn't open? Really? Now that right there is funny!
Q:Why do you think Biden wants as many illegals as possible to come into the country? Think hard. Not real complicated. Why hasn't he visited the border, the worst crisis of his presidency? Do YOU approve of an open border?
