Play ball. Sports should be a refuge from social issues. No one should have to wear anything but the official uniform. People would be howling and rightly so, if say the owner of the Rangers wanted his players to wear Trump patches in a state where Trump carried 52% of the vote, which is far greater a percentage than the LGBTQ..... community in TX.

Tolerance for me but not for thee.

(especially in Pop Culture) so you can fully expect the left to continue to do it.

The far left has always embraced a totalitarian method for "change". None exemplify this better than the rabid LGBTQ+ wing, that want to force an acceptance of their beliefs by demonizing those that disagree with them. To them - it is not "good enough" to just be left alone to live like they desire but instead everyone must publicly accept the "rightness" of their lifestyle or be punished.

There is a reason people "self-censor" now more than ever. Anyone that espouses "traditional" values are instantly targeted by the cancel culture activists. The reason the left is successful with this strategy is because too many of our political and corporate leaders are cowards and sheepishly bend the knee to the leftist intimidation bully machine instead of confronting them with freedom and one's right to hold legitimate alternative beliefs.
