Taps - '61-'64

Aug 11, 2014, 2:11 PM

My father passed away a couple of years ago and my Mom is now moving out of the house. While cleaning out the basement found his year books '61-'64 (2 additions of '64). Mom doesn't want to keep, I can't take on the plane and felt bad tossing them. If anyone would like any, let me know and I will ship to you.

How much would you like for them?

Don't want to sell them, just would like someone to have them...I guess just handle UPS. They are in great condition. It's cool because the '61 is Clemson A&M college. He was the Sports editor in '64...I guess that's why he has 2.

I found the 1917 Taps after my father passed away. It has my grandfathers class picture in it. It is my face in a military uniform from almost 100 years ago now.

Deserttiger is right. You may wish you had kept them, if you give them away. It's a part of your dad's life, and to me that would mean its a part of your life as well. I had wanted them for my brother, that was at Clemson during that period. He was pretty hard up for money so he was never able to buy them for himself. I thought it would be a nice surprise for him. If you still want to give them away; after you've thought about it, let me know.
