So far I like Shane Beamer as much as a Clemson Tiger fan can because I think he is trying to pattern his life and coaching behind Dabo Swinney, but the idea that OU is remotely interested in Shane B. as a head coach is just outrageously funny. Besides Shane has already said South Carolina is his dream job so why would he leave the gamecocks. Surely a 30 point beat down by your instate rival that really did not even try to throw the ball would not discourage Coach Beamer in his first year.

Beamer has 12 games as a head coach and he finished 6-6. Does anyone really believe he is a candidate for one of the biggest jobs in college football ?

to a bowl in his first season as coach there is a pretty good accomplishment. But, they ARE bowl eligible at 6-6, by the barest margins imaginable. Oklahoma is really clutching at straws if that criteria puts him at the top of their coaching search. I LOL and unplug my nose in their direction.
