Serious qwesion

Is it possible to attend USuC but truely be a Clemson fan? WBTW just showed an interview with the fan in qwesion. He claims he hates USuC and that he has even worn Clemson attire around campus and his undergraduate degree is from Clemson so I would like to say he's a true Tiger fan but then again.... He's attending USuC!

Yes! My son-in-law went to USUX because it was close to home to save money but he wore orange to the ball games.

Tiger fan here that attended uga grad school. No big. Wore my clemson gear on campus and the only thing I have with Georgia on it is my diploma. Living in columbia, it would be a lot cheaper for my daughter to go to south carolina since she can live at home. She can even get a dance scholarship there that might repay a tenth of what we spent on dance classes over the last several years. Clemson doesn't have that option. She could join the rally cats but no scholarship or any compensation. Sorry to inject real life on a football board but there are other considerations than fandom.

I've got two kids going to State and hopefully one more

if he gets his grades up a hair. They are getting a fantastic education at a fraction of the cost. I don't like NSCU sports, but I'm a huge fan of the University. They have an awesome engineering program, and really good facilities. My girls have probably been to 50 Clemson games, one is still a Clemson fan and the other is a wolfpack fan but still loves Clemson too.

I did tell them if they wanted to go to usuk, they had to pay their own way 100%.

Undergrad would be tougher than grad school.

My brother attended Clemson for undergrad and USuCk for grad school. He hated every minute of earning that masters.

Orange glasses off, if you attend a school for undergrad that has NCAA sports, you should support that team.

Have a fraternity brother that left Clemson after 1 year due to grades but got into USC shortly after. He lived in Columbia so it was easier. He is ALL Clemson. Has no love for the coots.

Fair enough. It was just a little hard for me to grasp because growing up my father was a huge Clemson fan until he got into USuC. Now he's just another cluckin coot

My son-in-law went to USC for PHD that put him in line for his job as a Clemson professor - that's putting up with the pain for the long-term benefit.
