Especially if ball security remains an issue.

Dabo said Renfrow dropped a key pass in the scrimmage the other day. Maybe we should move him to CB too.

Uh...we have about 4 healthy guys in the secondary right now. Making a legit "3 deep" would be problematic unless you're counting walk-ons, waterboys, guys still rehabbing, and guys who aren't actually on campus yet.
There was a reason our coaches boomed forth in January offering every uncommitted high-end DB in the country, and it had a lot to do with the 4 DB's who jumped early into the draft and another one (Gibson) who transferred. And just for giggles, we have yet another (Wiggins) coming off an ACL tear.

Wallace will be ahead of Dawkins and Trapp before the end of the year - unless he redshirts.

I agree but they say he will be more like Carter at nickle in the 5 DBs so I would put him Saftey on the DC

CB - Fields, Edmonds, Baker (plays a lot if he makes it back this season...doubtful at this moment.) Tank, Carter, Mullen....Dawkins, Trapp never see meaningful snaps...never ever.
safety- Johnson, Muse, Wiggins plays a lot if healthy, Smith, D Johnson, Simmons....carter at safety if needed.
Nickel- Carter, Wiggins, Wallace
Cupboard is not bare but there are a lot of uncertainties with inexperience and injuries .
