So the ACC is down and the SEC is the greatest conference in the country?

Yes, the SEC does have 3 of the top ranked teams in the country, and the ACC only has one, but if you're going to compare conferences, you have to compare the entire conference, not just the top dogs.

Overall Records:
SEC 90-64 58%
ACC 86-68 56%

Average Records:
SEC 6.4-4.6
ACC 6.1-4.9

Teams with winning records
SEC 8
ACC 8

Bowl eligible teams
SEC 8 (+1 one win away)
ACC 8 (+2 one win away)

So given all of that, while there is a slight SEC advantage, it looks pretty comparable to me.

What about teams losing to Georgia State? I didn't throw App State in this one because they would probably win the SEC lEast.
