Ha..guess you know now that this crispy 81 year old adventurer made it back alive yesterday after crossing the ocean tip twice where the Savannah River flows into it.
Those two parallel huge rock bounder borders on each side of the Savannah River channel entry leading from the ocean that guard the entry are dangerous to go over so it's out to the ocean to skirt them safely.
Had smooth going but on way back 5 hours later I had 1-5 foot waves & chop due to changing currents & wind while motoring back to Ga coast at 6-7 pm..
from splendid boat trip from Tybee Island Ga to The HEAD SC in the 1993 14' Boston-Whaler JET drive boat with only a 50hp 650cc Yamaha motor but she's a work horse.
Does 20-25 mph all day but tops out at 28 with 17 gallon fuel tank & me & stuff but that's still a real nice pace.
Took me 1:15 hours on way over with soft water but I stopped to take pics. Would take a car longer by road imho.
Great trip to lunch at Hudson's Seafood in HHI on the ICW on beautiful & wide Skull Creek section near a bend and location of the marina.
Later I rode 1+ miles North to entry into Port Royal Sound & sunned/swam/waded on nearby secluded beach by Port Royal Sound..did some sightseeing pass my ole RV Resort, by Harbor-town and into & up creek to The Salty Dog Restaurant section at South Beach.

Great boat Bil1! And with you all the way on SEC sentiments! ESPN can work the deal if they want. Clemson has earned the right to get away from the ACC based upon paying all the bills for the ACC for the past ten years!
