Isn't as great when they have to play teams from other conferences.
At least in softball
It just means more ...teams are losing

We got screwed with the 16 seed and beating uga head to head, and sweeping the coots. At minimum, we should have been the 14th seed and uga the 16th.
You take a conference and put all their teams in regionals, they're bound to win one or two. The bias is real.

If we had just been the 15th seed, #2 seed UCLA was upset

we would've gotten to play unseeded San Diego St in the super regional!

In “all of sports,” SEC can’t even sniff the Pac-12s jock.

Not even close. Despite what ESPN spews out about their baby 24/7.

Actually the SEC was even worse, they went 3-9 (25%), with 2 of their teams hosting losing (LSU and Arkansas). ACC went 3-3 (50%), with all 3 hosting teams winning their regional (FSU, Clemson, & Duke).
SEC teams advancing were Tennessee, Alabama, and UGa.
Recap of SEC softball teams out this weekend: 1. South Carolina Gamecocks 2. Auburn Tigers 3. LSU Tigers (host) 4. Missouri Tigers 5. Kentucky Wildcats 6. Florida Gators 7. Arkansas Razorbacks (host) 8. Ole Miss Rebels 9. Texas A&M Aggies

Out of the weakest regional out there. Had to scrape past MTSU by 1 run after losing to them earlier in the day.
Only UGA and yes SC looked good this weekend from the SEC

The SEC is better than the ACC in nearly every sport. As much as I hate to say it it's true. Let's not reach and act like we're better out of spite. The only thing we can claim is more NCAAB titles. Blow us away in baseball and football, among other sports.

Here is the NCAA D1 Softball Committee. It is Chaired by Sandy Adkins from Troy. I’m sure Ms Adkins is a huge, giant, enormous dyed in the wool, ACC fan and has absolutely, positively zero bias towards any SEC teams.
Why do the PAC-12 & SEC have a Rep’s, but no other P-5 conference does?
I’m sure that ESECPN having 4 people there doesn’t influence anything. Their transparent, evenhanded, unbiased reporting is legendary. ESECPN would never show any favoritism towards one particular conference…..like ranking 75% of a conference in the top 25….they’ never do that.
It’s all just a great big, huge, giant, enormous, once in a billion years coincidence, that the SEC was over ranked again. Just because it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks likes a duck, doesn’t mean it’s a duck. If the NCAA D1 Softball Committee tells us it’s a Hippopotamus, we should ignore the webbed feet, the feathers and the fact that this Hippopotamus is laying eggs and take them at their word.
It’s all disgusting and infuriating.

I wonder if those representing the officials were there to get their instruction manuals for the upcoming 2023 football on how to correctly call an SEC game against each conference and their opponent for the week. What penalties to ignore, when to throw a flag for an SEC NIL commercial break. Troy’s representative is probably just a figure head puppet like Joe Biden. She probably go attended the event to get her instructions as well from ESPNSEC Wide World of Sports.
