I get it, video boards are for bragging rights. But I am not sure if this new video board will look good until the East End Zone seating is redone.

...I can only assume that the old board was going to be in the way of the new seating somehow, so this is the appropriate first step in the project? Just a guess.

Is that still going to happen? The design was terrible IMO with those rounded edges on the stands in the corners. Reminded me of that fugly stadium in Memphis.

This is correct! Awful look that blocked off even more of the campus from the stadium. Pretty sure they dropped it and made that nice opening under the new board so you can see up the hill a little and look down into the stadium.

Thank goodness! I'm a straight lines kinda guy I guess. The curved look of those grandstands didn't match the North,South Stands or West Endzone at all.

It is just going to look silly with very few seats and a grassy hill in that area. More seats there would add some proportion to the stadium.
