Loved them back then. Hate to see anything happen to either of them.
However....
I was in both places, 2x, this past fall and it finally started to dawn on me that both TTT's and TD's could probably use some new carpet, a fresh coat of paint on the walls, and clean up all the memorabilia and hang back up. Nothing crazy, but both places are starting to get kinda run down. Hate to see them rot into oblivion.

Do they still have the long continuous stainless steel urinals down the wall and around the corner in the men’s room? High capacity, very efficient. So many partial memories from that bar!

But back in the 80's it was a true college town bar. All beer, no liquor, rock and roll, happy hours, no food(except for packs of nabs). Pool tables, trough urinals with puke in them. Easy to get in on a fake ID. Man what a great place. I remember after my Bio Chemistry exam selling my book and going to TTT spending it all on Natural Light.

It was known as the Red Carpet Lounge back then.
