after beating a really bad and injured Auburn team. After reading some of their posts and watching the SEC final this morning , Clemson has little if any chance at WB Saturday. All season they have bemoaned the Beamer hire and all but quit on their pathetic program. But after yesterday they suddenly match up well with Clemson, have equal talent, their QB is better and our Defense is not as strong as advertised. Factor in our weak ACC schedule and only “signature win” over lowly Wake Forest, the Tigers obviously are in for a long day Saturday.
Amazing the thought process and idiotic
new found optimism from that crowd.

Let's be fair and give credit where credit is due, they are number one in having fans ejected from sporting events. Their women's basketball games are in the lead by a couple of miles over any other sport in the NCAA.

To having a chance for the next 7-8 years, this game isn’t coming at a good time as our offense is coming together, I believe we will beat them pretty bad. I would be surprised if they can run the ball on us.

Far be it from me to demur, but why shouldn't they want to crow about their team. They won only three games last year and last night they became bowl-eligible. That's a rather laudable accomplishment for a first-year head coach that everyone here called a terrible hire.
And why shouldn't they be optimistic about winning on Saturday. Is not that the role of the opposition, the underdog, the No. 2 state college?
And while it's true that defense travels, it's also true that our offense remains a work-in-progress.
I say shout it out UofSC fans. Bring on your profane verbiage, throw your bottles, misbehave in the parking lot, play your somewhat silly rooster cock-a-doodle-doo over and over ad nauseam, let Todd Ellis say something ridiculous.
It's all the sweeter in the aftermath.
