Ryan Carter

Nice week for this young man. Pix six to finish 4-0 against the coots. Forced a fumble, then gets another int during third consecutive ACC Championship. I'm glad Dabo offered him a scholarship. It appears as if that was a good decision.

solid career

When he signed on National Signing day back in 2013 I was stunned to say the least. However, he worked his tail off. When he played in ACCCG against UNC he played tough. Got beat once or twice but never backed down. I knew then that he would be a player for us. Last season he was solid at NB and once again played bigger than himself. This season he basically man'd one side of the field bc of injuries and he had the best technique of any of our other corners. He always got his head turned around, always had good control of his body, and always made the correct reads. I'm not going to lie I'm going to miss Carter.

He was a key contributor on last season's title team, as well. The guy is a ferocious competitor. Just look at the way he comes up to hit bigger backs/receivers in the open field.

I've got a feeling he's still got some magic left. I think he'll make some big plays against Bama.

Likewise. This is his third game vs Bama. Invaluable experience last year in particular against a lot of the same personnel. He's done great in coverage but has always been a guy that can complement the run defense on the perimeter and seems to play well against "more physical" competition.

Agreed 100%, he has that dog in him.
