Did UGA lie out their a$$es off to recruits?I mean besides playing the race/politics card(they did). Rumors now running rampant, now that their recruits have signed the contract, that their DC is headed to A&M after the Playoff and the OL coach NFL bound LOL

No I'm not a UGA fan....I posted in a topic where people are having a discussion in regards to their program. Is that ok with you? Does every post need to be about Clemson?
You have only seen an influx of UGA related posts from me because of recruiting....and not once have I indicated that I am a UGA fan...I hate UGA...I unfortunately live in Georgia so that hates runs a little more deep....

It's a business and every recruit knows that from the get-go. But you are right......every member of the program right down to the scout-teamers must pull their weight or be replaced @ Ga now. Gone are the Richt days of filling out the special teams with walk-ons. We no longer have a walk-on program....it's now a preferred walk-on policy. Kirby must invite you to join the team. Of course our scout-teamers don't equal our 5-Stars like in Dabo's program......I actually read that in here last week.
Seriously.....to date Kirby's processed a single recruit in his 2018 class DE Robert Becton. A decision had to be made when it became apparent Brenton Cox would flip from OSU to GA. Move a 3-Star out for a possible 5-Star.

I say that if a prospect didn't do his homework on potential coaching losses, thats on them.
But thats also why I don't particularly like the Dec signing day. To easy for HCs to hold on to assistants for the recruiting to just fire them right after. An earlier signing day would identify that kid thats really want to go to the school regardless of who the position or head coach is, and the Feb signing date would be after all of the coaching carousel has died down.

is that if the head coach, coordinator (on their side of the ball) or their position coach leaves between signing days, the recruit has the option of voiding his LOI.
I think Dabo is one of the ones who suggested it.
I would even extend it to say that if one of the above coaches leaves before the start of spring practice, the recruit can exercise that option. It would be a win win. The kid who knew he where he wanted to go and whose heart is at that school is not going to leave. The one who was completely undecided or even leaning another way but bought into the lies may want to see if one of his other choices will still take him.

I'm sure that has to be a question that comes up though for most recruits. You would think they would ask about coaching stability, at least for the HC and position coaches. It's hard to ask that of coordinators these days though.
