from a recruit they stole from Alabama. I thought he meant they had flipped one of Bama's commits..but he simply meant that they got a commit from a 3 star recruit out of Alabama that Bama had shown some interest in.
The way the guy was acting I thought they had achieved some recruiting coupe.
The kid(an OL) may turn out to be the greatest player in history, but based on what I saw, I don't understand why they are so giddy.

He may turn out to be a top notch player but his comments re his committing to the Gamecocks was based on a promise of early playing time and the fact they put a lot of OL in the pros. I doubt he checked the correct boxes on the BS list.

I find it kind of amusing that one of the sites said that Cohen "claimed" to have an AL offer. It must have fooled muschamp though, but that ain't saying much either.

This kid did not have a commitable offer from Bama. Bama offers a ton of players and most are not commitable. Even their commits get slow played sometimes into decommiting. That is the Alabama way

You just know there were coots that immediately went to the Clemson recruiting page to brag about their "big get" and saw what we already have commitments to on the OL and simply went back to watching wimmins basketball.

All their commitments are better than anybody else until they get on the playing field. They have always had playground mentality, mine is better than yours.

Let him have his moment in the sun, because it will be a lot of darkness for your friend as this recruiting cycle finishes up and he sees the kids committing to Clemson.
they do have a decent line coach and prolly sees the kid as a gem if he wanted him. They were pretty decent on the ol last year but that did kind of fall apart when Zach B went down for them.
