Anyone have any news on Ross? I’m surprised we haven’t heard anything about his status next year. Seems strange we don’t know yet. Thought they were saying in the spring that we would know in June if he’s been cleared to play.

There is no timeline where they “owe” us an answer. Likely we’ll know when camp starts or when they release the game roster. Or sooner, or not.

I've decided to roll with the media; the way people who cover the ACC talk about Ross makes it seem they're certain he's going to play. We've been waiting for an update for ages it seems, like you said, but it doesn't seem to matter to the media people----they all seem to know something we don't and always and ONLY seem to hint at the "any day now" stuff about him being cleared to play.

Plus, every ACC WR list has Ross on it at #1.

Every article about Clemson predictions seems to include Ross at an x-factor (rather than question his return).

He even has official Heisman odds.

I'm not sure why there's no new info, but all the indirect info points to him being healthy, cleared, & the #1 target for DJU this season. Buckle up...

What difference does it make? Ross was/is a great kid, huge for the team.
Would be fantastic if he was able to play- the important thing is that he is healthier now than he was before the surgery. Nothing but the best for him- either way.
