Arian Smith

Well this sounds promising. The guys at STS say the staff really covets this kid and he has crazy speed unlike any other wr on the roster right now.

He definitely has speed like no current receiver which fills a big need on the roster.

His recruitment doesn't get much attention here but he's right up there with Flowe and Burch in importance IMO.

No doubt Amari is fast. The consensus is this kid has the type of explosive, get up to full speed in a hurry type ability that can take the top off of a defense. I think i read he's in the 4.3 range....that's super fast. Also the word is GA really wants this kid too and it would be nice to take another from the dogs.

I coach track down in the Central FL area and he just happened to be in the same district as the school I coach at last year before he transferred to Lakeland. Fast is honestly a bit of an understatement for him when you see it in person. The scariest part is that everyone I talked to around him has told me that he really wasn't coached properly at his former school and that he was really just beating people off talent which makes sense considering his times really didn't drop from the beginning of the year to the end. With the right coaching at Lakeland and possibly Clemson (fingers crossed), this kid is a legitimate 10.0x/4.2 type of fast.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. I hope the Tigers can land him.
