Basic stats from that game were one-sided in NCSU's favor.
The kickoff return and dumb play calls at the end lost the game for them.

Agreed- if you just saw the stats without the scores you'd think NCSU rolled them. That's now 10 straight for SCar against the State of North Carolina (NCSU, ECU and UNC).
I think SCar is just in their heads the way SOS used to be in ours as a few in their streak we really had to work hard to find ways to lose and did.
Not that Scar is any good but the NCSU defense limited their yards and the offense racked up plenty of their own. I'll agree with the board consensus that they haven't played anybody and occasionally play stupid but I see no indication yet that they are a terrible team.
In the end though, I think the way that game went last year, we will be spitting nails and make a statement like we did at Louisville who is also not as bad as we made them look.

Wake is more likely to beat FSU next week than NCSU this one.
Not sure what's up with Nate Andrews, he is listed as questionable this week but it is an undisclosed situation.

NC state is decent. They out played the coots and should have won by double digits. The hype they are getting is only based on them being a missed field goal away from beating us last year. I got sick and tired of hearing about this from these media idiots who obviously didn't watch the game. We almost beat ourselves against NC state last year. Alot of stupid #### happened for it to be such a close game.

Part of the job of these talking heads is to create hype, even when they don't actually believe the words coming from their own mouths. The more "for real" teams there are, the more hype they can try to create, which equals better ratings.
