to play one more year of football? If they truly bust up over this, I think it is because he told her he is going to play MORE than one year.

Dude…iah…she isn’t even “all that” … sure she’s pretty and skinny…but let’s be honest…he could do much better from a physical standpoint…only thing is she is the mother of his young kids…that matters…a lot!!!

It was because they filled each other's gaps.
Maybe Giselle fits Tom the best. Most women in that situation would be pushing their husband for that extra paycheck so that says a lot about her.

I read it was because Giselle gave up her career to be with Tom and have a family. And now when it was Toms turn to do the same he didn’t stick with it. If that’s the case she will be upset for a while but will get over it as long as this is his last year.

It lost its mind several years ago when she changed her modeling contracts. Making it where they had to pay her in Euros not matter what country the job was in.

...45 year old body can't play high-level NFL QB anymore. Maybe after just a couple games, maybe mid season. But it's going to happen. He's pushing his luck.

over this. Look at things from her point of view. She was one of, if not THE biggest Supermodels of all time, and put her career on hold to be a mom and raise the kids. She has done that since 2009. Now, Tom finally retires, with absolutely nothing left to prove or really gain further in the game of football. AND, he has a $375,000,000 TV job waiting on him. She could finally get HER career going again, while he watches kids for a change.
So, what does he do? He decides he wants one more last ride (At LEAST one more) with the boys. If Gronk really does stay retired, that's already one thing that didn't go as planned for him. Anything short of another Super Bowl win will be a failure in his eyes, and I think he is doomed to fail in this instance. It was going to be a long shot anyway, and if you throw him out there with marital problems as well, it won't end well, for anybody.

Actually I feel the problem is reason Gisele wanted Tom to retire. She doesn't want him to be worth as much as she it. Even of last season her net worth still above this but won't be if he play another season or two.
