Rivals.com reporter Courtney Roland

Jan 8, 2018, 8:12 AM

Left a camp at Texas A&M yesterday in an Uber, went to store then got in her own car Jeep where she texted a friend a creepy guy was following her. According to friend she drove home pulled into driveway and got out Jeep, the man followed but supposedly got scared when she got out Jeep and drove off. She told friend she was ok and made plans to meet up. However that was the last she heard from her and she is now missing... crazy stuff. I know this board believes in the power of prayer so, please pray for her to be found safe.

And gentlemen. It's not that difficult, especially in Texas. Not saying that it can prevent every bad situation from happening, but I'd feel much better having a 45 in my hand than not.

She also should have immediately called the police if she felt someone was following her, not gone to her house and kept driving.

Or...

We could not say everything she did wrong in the situation and figure out as men how we can keep from doing crappy things to women.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Sounds great.

Jan 8, 2018, 8:28 AM

Why don't you call up the guy that kidnapped her and tell him this? Then we won't even have to get the police involved.

Your statement sounds great in theory, but is never going to be realistic in the real world. In the real world, there will always be bad people (men and women) and it is up to you to protect yourself.

It's not about anything she did WRONG in the situation. It's about the small things that she (and others) could do differently to ensure they are safe.

His statement doesn't sound "great in theory." It just sounds stupid. Naively, ignorantly, DANGERously stupid.

Sexual pervert psychopaths are like that old man dying of lung cancer smoking cigarettes through his tracheotomy. No words in the world are going to fix their addiction.

So good luck with him sitting in a circle of coyotes singing kumbaya and asking the 'yotes to examine themselves and figure out why the like to kill little fawns.

Lol, I was trying to let him down easy.

Prayers sent! Calling police is what she should have done. Only problem is there is not much they can do. Sounds like this person wanted her.

Prayers answered. Can't wait to hear what happened. Was she actually taken and released or not...

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Wouldn't surprise me if she faked the whole ordeal.***
