Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

"When I was young, I was sure of many things; now there are only two things of which I am sure: one is, that I am a miserable sinner; and the other, that Christ is an all-sufficient Saviour. He is well-taught who learns these two lessons." -John Newton

He was always a happy man. I will never forget him trying to get out of the way of a foul ball at third base coaching box and he fell flat on his behind. Don't know a manager would be third base but he was that day.

Tommy met and married his wife Jo while he was playing for the Greenville Spinners in 1950. She was a local girl and Southern Baptist and he was Roman Catholic. A link to a great picture of the couple from 1950 here https://www.pinterest.com/pin/551128073134965763/
