Maybe they know some people would find it interesting where the player ended up? Some won't. I was interested where those guys last year would end up. Keon Sabb etc.

and no doubt there are folks interested where our former players land, including myself.
It's also easy enough to skip over articles of no interest, which we all do occasionally.

It isn't a nasty divorce. For the most part the young men that leave have enjoyed their time here and are leaving for a chance at more playing time somewhere else. Some are only mildly concerned with the playing time and look to continue their education somewhere else.
Regardless, with only a very few exceptions, these young men have worked and contributed to our program, even when the on the field contribution is minimal or non existent. We should appreciate what they have given to this program and many of us wish them well in their future endeavors. We like to know where they end up so that we can pull for them in the future.
I certainly don't read every article on TigerNet. If the headline doesn't interest me then I move to the next one. If the head line is "Former Clemson QB announces transfer to ACC school," then it should be pretty simple for you. Don't read it. If most of the articles don't interest you then try Clemson Insider. If you don't find anything there, try FGF. It really isn't that complicated.

If you are referring to the last post, that presented an unusual situation in which Venables' team possibly went after an already-committed player. I suppose we are still used to having Brent on a pedestal. It's a shock to the system, but something we have to expect will happen.

Because it's news about athletes who are connected to Clemson Athletics. Why would they not post it?
I don't think I've ever seen TigerNet describe itself as "A place to find information about athletes currently enrolled at Clemson University".
