My onLy question remains Why did they go against the Univ (answer deep pockets) when this was a non university event off Clemson property They want to place the blame on anyone but the adult that was old enough to vote and join the military and because i am sure they paid for his substantial fees to join a frat

They want to find out who was involved or helped lead to his death. That’s how you prevent future tragedies like this. If it were your son, you’d change your tune.

Some Clemson People Support Killers Over Truth

Are you human? You know, every time this comes up, my ever important Tiger pulse drops, because people like you just want unpleasant things to go away. Well, in this case, we have wonderful Clemson grads that are still conspiring to cover up manslaughter (at least) 10 years later. Relationships that last a lifetime! Yep, they are wearing their class rings, covered in orange bling, going to Christmas parties, football games, whatever they want, while a human is dead and a family is ruined. Their “Brother”… Why? It never occurred to them that a human life other than their own matters. They’re Clemson grads that manage to stand against every single thing Clemson stands for, and a percentage agree. You should be ashamed, but I know you are not… I’m thinking that the whole PAW program needs to be for the frat boys too - do we want our athletes prepared for life, but not frat boys? It really doesn’t make it ok to kill a human, just because you are dumb enough to join a frat. I was and never killed a soul, but did my liver no favors. And if your parents buy you a car, are they responsible if a drunk driver hits and kills you? Maybe…but is the drunk driver a hero? Only in this forum…pathetic.

If the report is true the kid was asked to walk a guardrail it shows the older frat boy to have been in over his head as an initiator. A balance beam on a military style obstacle course at least is a flat surface. An Olympic caliber gymnast would probably pass up that test in an ordinary double dog dare you scenario.

So perhaps the young man should have declined the request. I blame the parents for not teaching the young man he should not do stupid stunts requested by a frat moron

The young man definitely made a poor decision that contributed to his own demise. I'm of the opinion hazing should br banned.

Lol... You obviously have never been in an initiation style environment. If you say "no," you are saying that you are quitting. You're immediately black balled and you're gone.
The frat boys that were in charge of the pledge group should all have a criminal record. There's no question. More than one of these ### holes know exactly what happened. And, in the name of "brotherhood" and saving their own ###, they won't say a word.
I hope their entire lives are ruined with the guilt sitting on their minds. May they see a reminder of Tucker everytime they visit Clemson's campus, and may they forever be paranoid that the real story comes out.
I do hope they never have to experience the pain that they've caused.

Yep. All the most popular fraternities are basically so competitive to get into the pledges try to outdo each other in stupidity. It's the frat leaderships fault for taking it too far and sadly no one is talking.

I think there is plenty of blame to go around including the person who died. Clemson should have shut the whole s(!t show down. Stopped it all.

Something happened to that kid

and whatever it was had to do with what stupid kids at that age do. I was in a fraternity. Wasn’t a big priority to me, but did my fair share of stupid. Saw some things that shouldn’t have happened. I hope the family finds closure whether they determine if someone was a fault or not. Nothing could be worse than losing a child. Nothing.

Saw a brother

get dropped on his head while doing a keg stand. He went from three feet suspended to splitting his melon open in a blink. Sparing some details, he was ok after about 25 stitches and a concussion. Didn’t stop the party or his drinking. Could have killed him.
That’s not the worst I saw.
