Retired generals—-where they at?

During the Trump years, you couldn’t swing a cat without hitting a story featuring a retired (and occasional current) General negatively opining on Trump administration foreign efforts.
Now that we are in the midst of one of the biggest military f-ups of the last 20-30 years, these type stories are noticeably absent from my newsfeed.
Why is that?

I have seen them on TV daily ripping Biden, even on the liberal stations. Biden is going torn apart.

Interesting group of people, those retired generals. heard one on the radio interviewed and he was candid, as he didn't do the retired general circuit.
He explained generals rise in the ranks pleasing those above them who run things. Eventually, though they retire, and then start making massively more money as talking heads, for whoever is then running the show. Some have absolutely no basis for their comments based on their careers or politics, other than getting paid. Said he sees it all the time, completely out of character remarks from generals he's known personally for decades, for a consulting fee. He said the whole system turned him off so he never did the whole retired general thing.
He said most lean left, but with Trump there was more universal distaste for the man, hence that may be your answer.
Only what I heard on a right wing talk radio show. Host wasn't pleased with the Trump remark. But the guy seemed level headed. Could have been a plant too, existential crisis and all. But he plainly put it that he holds NO retired generals in any respect who go on TV, sign petitions, and whatever else.

90 former Generals and Admirals have signed an open letter urging that Milley and Austin be impeached, but it will fall on deaf ears. They are speaking out, but if you listen to anything other the FNC, Newsmax or OAN, you'll not hear about it.

Russia. Minus the gulags, although maybe we'll get those too one day....Anything seen as a threat to 'the party', no matter how insignificant, is met with fervent fact checking and endless oppositional propaganda. However, large, very obvious screw ups by the party are glossed over and more or less given a pass by media, while all of the supposed super smart adults running things stay mum and try to deflect from yet another one of their failures.

Nothing but some election stuff. Just went back and there are now two entries on this 90 generals story. Dunno if that’s how long it took to propagate or if google’s algorithm for my top stories changed because of this thread.
