Remember when OK State came to our regional

and was a pitching team and made it all the way to the final four of the CWS thanks largely to 1-0, 2-1 type games?

well now they are the exact opposite. Lost 20-12 to Arkansas yesterday and are leading Missouri State 17-14 in the 7th inning now.

Missouri St. had a 9 run inning, and once led 12-0. When the college bullpen goes bad in a regional, it can go real bad.

Or have their been some crazy scores for college baseball the past few years?

Maybe it's just me not keeping up with college baseball as closely but some of these scores have been wild and it's almost seeming the norm to go over 10+ runs for games nowadays.

Iowa and Indiana had a 30-16 game earlier this year. There were several 20 plus scores in the regionals.

As opposed to the early-mid 2010s when every game was suddenly a pitcher's duel. I remember the years UCLA and Virginia won, every game was like 4-0 with no homeruns. It has certainly changed in recent years and this year being the biggest shift.
