Remember Isiah Wilson OT from the DAWGS?

He was a 1st rounder who went to the Titans in 2020. He was a bust due to discipline issues. He has been a complete mess. The Dolphins just traded for him. I wonder what they had to give up?

That is what would always scare the socks off me if I was an NFL exec. You can never really predict what a kid right out of college will do when he suddenly becomes a millionaire overnight. Some will be fine, some will literally blow it up in (drug) smoke (our own Martavis Bryant), and some even go off the gangsta deep end (Aaron Hernandez).
These kinds of outcomes are one reason Clemson should be justifiably proud of the "Paw Journey" program that Dabo has set up. We are actively setting our young men up for success later in life in the business world. Because, let's face facts, only a VERY small percentage will ever go on to play pro football at all, and an even smaller percentage will become stars at it. There needs to be a different plan for most.

I just saw what they traded. They traded two 7th rounders, 1 in 2021 and 1 in 2022.

they can somehow turn him around. In some cases, being cut or traded is the wakeup call a guy needs. We shall see.

That is not correct. The Dolphins gave up a 7th rounder in 2021. The Titans are sending Wilson and a 7th rounder in 2022 to the Dolphins.

I just saw what they traded. They traded two 7th rounders, 1 in 2021 and 1 in 2022.
The swapped 7th rounders, basically moved back one year. They didn't trade two picks. They take on the salary and the headache.

He may make a living up there, but it will only be a drop in the financial bucket compared to the NFL millions he literally let go up in smoke.

Here is the real issue...No way that MFer goes 3 years at UGA and not even a rumor of discipline issues and then gets into the league and acts out...Makes you wonder how much that POS at UGA hides.
