Dec 10, 2021, 3:16 PM

Streeter is 1 million times better than you!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

he may or may not be.. but it is Dabo's decision

Dec 10, 2021, 3:23 PM

if dabo is wrong he could get canned.

IF tnet is wrong.. we'll just find something else to complain about.

I vote noon games.

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

That’s not a fair comparison.
Streeter found out that week he was going to be calling the plays because of the Covid rules.
He was still having to run Elliott’s offense etc. as there was no time to change anything.

If he’s the guy permanently and not just for the bowl, then he’ll have a chance to install his system and develop his plays and play calling.

Yes. How dare he not install a completely new offense, have all the players learn it and have it humming along in a week…

Let’s think about that for a minute. He didn’t know he was going to call plays until a few days before the game. It isn’t his playbook. You’d be better served looking at what he did at Richmond as OC.
Not saying I want him as OC but at least try and be objective when making a post

LMAO...Streeter got the news last minute he'd have to fill in...so late that by the time it was announced, Tony already had the offensive game plan installed....that was Tony's game plan, or did you forget that?

There was a game this year we were winning with 5 minutes left. We were averaging over 5.5 yards per carry. All we had to do was run time off the clock and we threw 3 straight incompletions to run off 19 seconds. Whoever called those plays is a ####### and I'm hoping it wasn't Streeter.

Streeter lit it up as an OC at previous jobs before Clemson. I wouldn’t judge him based on one game where he did not even put together the game plan. Plus, our D collapsed in qtr 2. That was the biggest difference in the game.

He is by far the most qualified coach on staff to call plays.

That’s generally what it looks like when you run someone else’s offense and their plays…. Let Streeter install HIS offense and let him call a game before making quick trigger out of context comments ??

Do you people honestly believe that Streeter has nothing to do with these game plans and coming up with the plays on a weekly basis? Get a clue people, he sits in every meeting and helps design each week's game plan, which has been pretty pathetic this year. I'm sure he has made many a play call this season too. Do you suddenly think he will have his own plays and formations that will work like a charm going forward, but he's just been sitting on them for the last 7 years.

And really, the play calling and abandonment of the run in the OSU game was pretty glaring, and spare me this, it wasn't his game plan or plays BS, because it is and was, he's sitting in those meetings and I'm sure has a major say in it all.
