What do you feel our receivers would be like with a capable QB? Are the receivers really a recruiting miss?

At least let them prove their worth with a consistent QB before we say they’re trash. DJ has proven who he is. Our WR’s never got a fair chance. If with a decent or better QB they play the same then we can say they are trash. Mike Williams, Nuk and Tee Higgins couldnt help DJ if they were here

DJ wouldn’t be able to get them the ball!! They can’t throw to themselves. What do you think will happen? A flick of his wrist to them while he stands in the pocket like Statue of Liberty?!

A QB that is truly elusive and can scramble creates additional time for WRs to get open downfield on long or secondary routes that create chunk plays. Watching other college games, this is a significant part of many team’s offense.

Clemson’s passing offense seems predicated on perfect execution because QB is not mobile or instinctive avoiding the pass rush.

Hard to blame receivers when DJ can't scramble, giving them only milliseconds to work downfield for separation.

Additionally, DJ has no touch. He slings the ball as hard as he can to receivers 5 yards away and his longer balls leave his hands wobbly as if they were tipped.

They would be way better and anyone who watched live or goes back and breaks the games down would know it. This narrative of them never getting separation is a lie, they are missed repeatedly, and yeah they have a lot of drops but kind of expected when they have no anticipation that DJ is actually going to deliver on time. You put DW4 or TLAW in with this group we are undefeated and AW is putting up Sammy numbers
