I call foul/ fowl: Sounds like a mild sprain of a foot ligament or tendon, if ANYTHING. Embellished by the staff to safe his whittle heart from embarrassment and ridicule. Way too convenient/ suspicious.

Don't believe a word of it....until their orthopod confirms it with an xray report!

Let usc fans bash a injured player. Be classy and don’t bash someone who saids they are hurt. I broke my football way back in 2007/2008 in a high school football game against Hanahan. I felt the pop in the second quarter. It felt like jamming a finger. I played the rest of the game on a broke foot. It wasn’t until the next day when I tried to get out of bed that I realized something was wrong. I broke a small bone on the outside part of my foot and even though it didn’t hurt that bad I had a cast up to my knee for 3 months. So to me it’s very possible.
