A one year wonder who the coots think he is their savior, once again. You are right, he is poison and a NIL guy who thinks he is better than anyone else on the team. A second string QB who has the same OL as the coots had last year minus one. He will run for his life most of the season. Don't think he will make it the whole year.

My thoughts exactly. What the hell does FSU have to do with anything? My son in law is an FSU fan and he thinks he knows it all about everything football, but he also said Derrick Henry wouldn't make it in the NFL. Bwahahaha!

They’re going to turn on him, and then slowly on Beamer, come Oct/Nov. They have a below average OL and a below average WR corps… and one of the worst playcallers in all of P5.

And college, he didn’t even look like a P5 starter most of the time. I tend to agree, granted he’s a step up from the walk on or grad assistant the coots had last year but he might quit the team by the time we play them.

He’ll then get sacked all day against some middle of the pack SEC team. The coots will say that middle of the pack team has the best defense anyone has ever seen. In other words……same as the last 50 years.

I think it's too early to say.
It's easy to write him off but TBH he looked better than DJU last season and had there not been a superstar freshman that took the reigns, he'd probably stayed a starter.
He'll be the best QB they've had since Connor Shaw and Dylan Thompson.
I took a quick look at the G-cocks schedule and I could see a 6-8 win team this year with Rattler running the show -- wouldn't be surprised if they stole a game to make it 9 total wins.
But will he give Clemson fits? IDK.
Maybe on the level of Bentley where he could get hot and have a game but still lose by 20+ points.

Rattler benefited from a Lincoln Riley system that saw Baker Mayfield, watching DW4 take his job and Kyler Murray, who has no contract extension going into his final year of rookie contract. I think Riley has a special gift for getting the most out of a QB but the entire game plan escapes him. Rattler like Mayfield and Murray is a product of a system that took what appears to be mediocre QBs and gets them the Heisman. Without Riley I don't see Rattler being as successful as he was two years ago at OU.
