Ranking’s Nonsense

Alabama has ZERO WINS over top 25 opponents and 2 losses.

Penn St has ZERO WINS over top 25 opponents and 2 losses.

The ever shifting “shell game” of “reasons” (translate that to horse apples) for a particular ranking means the are NO REASONS. What matters this week, didn’t matter last week. What mattered last week, has no meaning this week. What matters next week, didn’t matter this week or last week.

I guess the “3 card Monty” strategy has fooled enough people to just keep the farce rolling.

That's why I just shake my head when people keep saying, "if we only had beaten SC, we would have been in." Nothing leading up to the final vote indicated that was even possible. It is so subjective that we really needed to go undefeated to truly be in, given the overall weakness of the ACC this year.

Actually, I should say the "perception" of the ACC by the committee. I actually think the ACC showed pretty well this year as we had at least 5-6 teams who were ranked at one point during the season.
