Andrew Mukuba #1

Nov 6, 2021, 11:38 PM

Whale of a game especially in the second half. He's gonna play a ton for the Tigers the next 2-3 years.

Kinda reminds me of Isiah Simmons the way he flies to the ball!

I was about to say the same. That kid has an incredible future ahead of him.

He won/saved the game for us.

Atta boy.

They should have gone to him earlier in the game.

Secondary was getting burnt but his closing speed came up big.

He is by far the best guy we have back in the secondary…..nobody else even close to him!

Mickens, Davis and Booth say hello

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Actually, that would be Andrew Booth but Mukuba will be

I know Tyler Venables didn't play today because of the flu, however, he's had more snaps than Mukuba the past few games.

Under no circumstances does that make sense.

Coach’s son is the only possible explanation I have!

Him and Mickens are both very talented young guys that will play a lot for us. Future is bright

He actually couldn’t cover the QB and the pitch man at the same time. He took one or the other because Skalski was caught up away from the play. He chose the wrong one.

You're always taught as a corner defender to take the running back out the picture in those option plays while the linebackers and safeties take the pitch man. So technically he made the correct play. But tonight was the night to go after the QB first. Can't fault him for what he's been taught to do since probably high school, it's just instinctual.

“but tonight was the night to go after the qb first”. Wow, what a genius comment. Just like all the other comments on this board. Hindsight coaching is always spot on.

I am not sure whether Skalski or Mukuba should have made the tackle but your post is confusing. Mukuba plays safety not corner.

Either way, he played well and had a tremendous 4th quarter to close the game out.
