Watch out for Bama. They got in on Ealy late but have

really put the pressure on, hiring away his Miss State recruiter. They think they are going to swoop in late with the last visit and add him to their stable.

to their success regardless of the coaches that roll-in-and-out. Bama still is pipeline to the NFL and that's what many recruits see and want.

These days, Bama is no more a pipeline to the NFL than Clemson. Imagine Trevor Lawrence passing to Ealy coming out the backfield. Hope he watched the Nat'l Championship game. If he comes to Clemson, he'll make All-American and enter the NFL as a first-round draft pick.

Quite the recruiting prize!

I think he knows he is, too.
I hope he isn't scared off by the depth chart. Ole Miss and MSU would promise him he'd play right away. Bama would promise him NFL upside. Hopefully Dabo and Elliott can successfully convince him that he can be a part of a rotation that will spare him hits and add longevity to his NFL career, which will definitely come if he can give us what Etienne gives.
Do you think Feaster has a shot at the NFL? The little we've seen from Dixon, I think he has potential to be a high pick (maybe not as high as Travis).

I agree. I think now days most college backs would rather play in a rotation because it greatly reduces the risk of injury. And we have a great baseball program where he could pursue that sport. And, I do think that the musical chairs with coaches DOES hurt their program. And our facilities are ranked #1 in the country. Don't take my wordor it---Google it.

I agree. Stable coaching staff at Clemson and opportunity to play without being over used sounds attractive. Good bball team and coach is a big plus.
That picture of Ealy reminds me of Frank Thomas!

Feaster looked really good against Alabama. I don't see how he could possibly help himself by transferring from Clemson.

I'm sure if he knows that he would sit 4th or 5th on the depth chart on day 1 that he has also been told that he could be sitting 1st or 2nd for the first play of his sophomore season.
1 and 2 on the depth chart are likely gone after next year. That means his competition for most of his career would be Dixon, Mellusi, and whoever gets added in the '20 class.
That's a pretty good set up for his sophomore and junior seasons.

Until Bowman comes in, and I believe he will earn playing time pretty quick bc he looks to be that talented even as a HS RB!!!

I'm just glad that our coaches don't back away from what the truth actually is, and that is you earn your playing time in practice. I know that sometimes some guys just can't deal with what actually has has to happen to get on the field, and they want something promised to them, and some coaches will make those promises but it seem that Dabo and Elliot wouldn't and didn't do that. They were perfectly honest with Ealy, and that was he would have to come in and earn playing time!!! Go Tigers, the truth is on the field where promises and lies don't fit!!!

If a guy is afraid of competition, he shouldn't even consider an elite program like Clemson.

Old Hickory got his head straight. I hope everyone realizes even if he does commit, he’s got til June to decide. I’ve read a lot of stories on him, even going back a few years ago.
He’s obviously had some good financial advice. Told him he’s got to realize that out of the 5 mil, taxes come out and agent gets their money etc so the bottom line is still life changing money but not 5 mil + so to speak. Also advised him there’s a lot of travel at 1100 per month aint much. So he did state it’s not all about the money.
However, he was promised at ole miss that he’d definitely get to play both sports. Not sure if that’s on the table with Dabo. All In right?
Bottom line, I like Dukes and the other ones we got coming in. Ealy seems to love the attention and has stated he knows he is a franchise player... imo only what I’ve read- don’t know the kid but comes across as self centered.
I wish him well and sure he’s a great person or Dabo wouldn’t be recruiting him. Thst being said, I won’t be disappointed if he doesn’t come here.
