I've been on here before. checking on you guys. #1: we're hoping to go to the ACCCG. I was checking Charlotte hotels and it's not good. I assume you guys are running up the rates!!!! love your fans. I said it in another post but you guys are the best fans, most accommodating. heard it so many times.
1: why aren't you guys ranked? seems pretty lousy to me. ms state was ranked with 4 losses. come on now. played UGA closer than anyone. recent power schools get the benefit of the doubt - why not you guys?
2: DJ? I come here as a friend but I am not a believer. is the backup that bad?
3: big game against WF - how are you guys feeling? their defense is so bad. obviously you guys aren't interested in a shootout (no offense). we're all scared of you winning and getting the Atlantic. no one wants the prospect of needing to beat Clemson twice in a season.

Answers
1 Maybe other teams don't travel as well so fewer fans mean higher prices if hotels/motels are going to make any money.
2 S.C. State and UCONN are the reason we are not ranked. Those two schools are a third of our win total. And we obviously didn't impress anyone ,IMP, with that game against the Huskies. For crying out loud we used 3 different quarterbacks in that game. Would you rank us based on 4 games that were decided by games that were not decided until the 4th quarter? And as far as Georgia goes, only Arkansas scored fewer points.
3.Don't know about our back-up's? And I seriously doubt that D.J. would call you a "friend".
4.Ask me after the game how I feel. Beat Wake and then hope and pray we get help from somebody. Lose to Wake, you won't have to worry about a rematch, but I certainly will be worried about the next game.

Wow. Perception and point of view can change everything. Fan of an opposing team sees it as we played UGA closer than anyone else and you see it as only Arkansas scored fewer points against them.

No offense to Pitt, but miss st would clean Clemson's clock. Only 4 teams in SEC right now we have a chance at beating would be scar, vandy, mizzou and Fla... And Fla because they've cashed it in obviously. So, I wouldn't rank us. I can't look at any top 25 team and say, yeah we'd beat them.
As for back-up QB. Not sure, TP might win us some games but DJ gives us our best chance unless, like the UConn game he's not going to run.

Pitt - we have found accommodations in downtown Charlotte to be nice but pricey when available. Try gameday travel. They charge a fee but usually can get nice places that are showing as booked up through regular channels.

For the UGA game we stayed out near the airport where we got much better rates and then we purchased a tailgate spot closer to the stadium. Or just Uber over and enjoy fan fest before the game. Tailgating is a little more of a risk in December because it has been pretty cold, windy and rainy for a few of the recent ACCCGs we attended. Good luck and I’m still hoping to see you there!!

thanks. that's a good tip. I stayed at the airport in 2018. that was great for getting to the airport in the morning. but my problem was there were so few Ubers after the game. took me an hour to get one. considering the rain and everything, that was less than enjoyable.

well I see a crappy PSU team still getting votes. and some others. there aren't any great 3 loss teams. I don't see why you guys are any worse than a 6-4 Purdue or auburn, who are both ranked.

The Charlotte light rail system is pretty decent. Might be worth looking for hotels along the route. Although--extremely crowded after an ACCCG.
