Question for older tigers.

Nov 18, 2012, 1:44 PM

Saw a kid at the game with an older looking 33 jersey. I know now they usually only see 10, 2, 6, 23... and obviously people have a lot of 1 and 28.

Who wore 33 back in the day?

Terance Flager is the only one that immediately comes to mind.

Terry Kinard wore 43. You sure it wasn't 43?

I think that would be Joe Henderson, not Joe Washington. He played runningback and wore 33!

Maybe a really good player - Kenny Flowers

Flagler was a tailback in the mid 80's

Nov 18, 2012, 6:44 PM

He and Kenny Flowers (from the same era) were perhaps the two best tailbacks to ever play here, along with Terry Allen. That's was when Clemson played option football and ran it almost exclusively.
