Ever since I arrived at this Caribbean paradise and listening to baseball games we have been on a tear.
You'll be glad to know that I'll be back perched up on my favorite patio chair, sipping Colombian beer, staring at the waves, and listening to the women's softball game tonight as well.
I'll be back permanently for football season. Watch out Noles!

It's a small coastal town near Barranquilla. I am going to back to Lima, Peru Saturday to finish my school contract, then back here again.
Our patio over-looks this large pier and the ocean. My wife and I never get tired of it!

Travel. I lived in Miraflores outside Lima, Peru for a year. Spent weekends in Cuzco. Also a lot of time in Bariloche, Argentina and Buenos Aires.

And a great appreciation for how people live in other places that are not always as fortunate or prosperous as we are here in the US. Helped me not take the things we enjoy here for granted.
But the best part for me was the food. I always enjoyed getting to try the food from other cultures and other parts of the world.
