It's been a really rough season back and forth. So many great moments of momentum and then moments where you just scratch your head. This team lost alot of leadership last year and just didn't seem to recover, but with the last game on the line they didn't quit and I respect that. The talent is there, the consistency wasn't. Hopefully we can add a few transfers and sign a legit recruiting class to boost the off-season hopes. I side with Monte finding solutions and have a great feeling next year we will be talking about a great turnaround. Go tigers

Me too, imagine if they had a good Pitching game against Louisville, we might have had a winning season but I don’t think we would have went anywhere with it this year. Had we won 2 games against Duke & FSU it might have been just the thing to boost the program going into next year.

He gets one more year. If still the same or not much better, he will be gone. The GT game may have bought that year although it should not have. He needs a new pitching coach. I'm reminded of a story about Billy Martin. Geo. Steinbrenner did not want Martin to bring Art Fowler with him(drinking prob.). Martin told GS that if Fowler did not come, he wasn't. GS backed down and the rest is history. That's how important a good pitching coach is.

Time for changes. People will be proud I am but also gt didn’t care. It’s like lville series sweep it was good but they didn’t play a week prior to us so

But, GT was playing with absolutely nothing on the line, either. They already knew that they would advance with a win over Louisville in the next game, regardless of our result. I hate the pool format.

While I share your enthusiasm, it's the same thought process most of us had during Bowden years. It was one excuse after another and then some positive that you always felt the next year was THE breakout year. Next thing you know, we're 6 years in and using the same coot logic. Well, IF we can get a good pitcher, we'll win a super regional.
True, you've always got to have hope. But we've done the same in basketball, we've hoped and if'd our way through 11 seasons and like Bowden having a good win over FSU, just like Brad had one good ending to one season, sweet 16... Man, we're on the road to greatness. It's just around the corner.
Monte's said the same thing for 6 years. At what point is enough enough. To me it's breaking the 64 year old record. That's not an up and down season, that's pathetic. The ACC has one good team this year. ND. Our schedule was weak.

So you’re proud they only finished 2 games under 500 instead of 4! Maybe you could join the team picture when they pick up their participation trophy. When DRad got rid of Leggett he said “It’s was a tough decision but he felt there was room for improvement”, how’s that worked out. The past 6 years have been a steady decline and as long as Monte is at the helm, there is little chance anything will change.
