Probably too early to judge, but 2022 recruiting class seems

Nov 14, 2022, 7:24 AM

Underwhelming when compared to past classes.

Defense looks legit. Absolute monsters on the line. Offensive line looks like they could be really good with some coaching. Missing is that elite receiver and running back. I know we are set at RB next year but doesn't hurt to have a stud waiting to come in when a starter goes down.

How do you know we are set next year at RB? Will Pace return? If he does not and we have an injury we will have exactly one RB on the roster with a P5 offer from any other school. If you think the talent at WR is down this year just wait until you see our RB roster in a couple of years without any legit 3 or 4* commits for two full cycles.

I take it you didn't read my full reply. We cannot predict a transfer and we cannot predict an injury which is why I said we needed a stud back. We didn’t get one last year and going 2 cycles without one could really hurt in the very near future. Fingers crossed we can somehow flip the Auburn RB.

How do you figure that? Really early to tell, but we have two that are starting. Possible are most explosive player, Antonio Williams and a right tackle Blake Miller. Though they struggled we had both defensive backs play. Woodaz looks like a player.

I think he's talking about next year

which is currently rated top 10. As for your point on this year's class. Covil has also played a fair amount, and we've been able to redshirt most of them, which is always good. Woodaz looks like a guy who was seriously underrated.

Not sure where you come up with that. We have at least 20 commits and have been ranked in the Top 10 all year.

I think you're referring to the 2023 class, since the 2022 class is currently playing this year. And FYI, 2022 was and is a fantastic class! We're still recruiting the 2023 class, but our commitments so far have been consistently ranked inside or around the Top Ten throughout the rankings this year. We still are recruiting. However, I am concerned about the lack of an elite RB in the last 2 classes (2022 & 2023). Also hope to add another elite WR to our 2023 class.
