That he wanted a fresh start somewhere else and didn't want to get further away from home

"Fresh start" is a funny term to use for someone that didn't really get to start. It was difficult to see him make that decision and still not get true starter snaps. Mind boggling. He alienated nearly all Tiger fans and I don't see where it benefitted him. Is he even steady on a practice squad?

Got his feelings hurt over playing time and did something stupid and we are still seeing that exact thing happening en masse these days.

Obviously no one on this site sat in the meeting he had with TE discussing playing time for the upcoming season. He could have picked a better school (his dad is a gamecock fan) but leaving was something he had to do

Wikipedia and read the following:
Feaster signed a reserve/futures contract with the Arizona Cardinals on April 15, 2021.[9] He was waived on August 31, 2021, at the end of training camp.[10] The Cardinals re-signed Feaster to their practice squad on October 5, 2021.[11] He was released on October 25, but was re-signed one week later on November 1.[12][13] Feaster was signed to the Cardinals' active roster on November 13, 2021, after starter Chase Edmonds was placed on injured reserve.[14] He was waived on November 15 and re-signed to the practice squad.[15] He was promoted back to the active roster on November 20.[16] He was waived on November 22 and re-signed to the practice squad. He was again promoted back to the active roster on December 4.[17] He was waived again on December 7 and re-signed to the practice squad.[18]
My goodness, what a business. My head hurts just reading this roller coaster. And the several spots before that aren't much better.
Not knocking on TF, just struck me how crazy a ride that is in one season.

a lot of this went on this year, with people on and off covid list, etc. The Cards seem reasonably happy with him - probably would have been on practice squad the entire year if not for the aforementioned

Those three active roster/waive/practice squad cycles are during game weekends to add depth due to other RBs being out. Those are good new for him...he's paid the NFL minimum instead of the practice squad salary.

Cooterville was a better option? Hindsight is 20/20.

he got 60% more touches at South Carolina in 2019

than he did in 2018 at Clemson..........that's understandable.........he wasn't going to be a "focal point" of our offense
ironically the last time Feaster suited up for Clemson was the last time Clemson won a national title.
