Obviously we win out....then....
NCST must lose to two of these four...Louisville, FSU, Syracuse, UNC.
Wake must lose to NCST and then us.
Then we are in.

I think there is one more scenario. We win out. Wake beats NC State and loses another game. Wake has the tie breaker over NC State, We have the Tie breaker over Wake and NC State has the tie breaker over us. Then I think the highest rank team in the AP pole would be the Champion.

Yes it's still mathematically possible. Wake Forest and NC State would both have to lose a lot down the stretch though and it seems pretty unlikely but not impossible.

Clemson doesn't entirely control it's own destiny.
First and foremost, Clemson absolutely must win-out.
Even if that happens, NC State owns the tire breaker over Clemson, so they would have to lose two of their final five games.
In addition, Wake would then have to lose one more conference game.

The question will be can we win the rest and will WF drop a 2nd game if that happens.
Also, if WF lost to Duke and us then it’s also probable we would be the winner of a 3 way 6-2 tiebreaker with WF and State if it came to that as the 3 teams would have split head to head and have 1 loss against division foes. Would be based on rating.

And Wake’s game against UNC does not count because it is not a conference game.

Yes we still have a chance but it isnt in our hands and if we dont find some offense we are going to lose again anyway.
If we find a spark on offense and win the next 3 convincingly, then we can start looking at the math but right now we just need to get better.
I like what I hear out of Shipley. He looked hungry and inspired on the field the other night. That might be the beginning of something if he takes on a leadership role on the offense.

NC State did lose two important starters in the Miami game. They now say both player are out for the season. MLB and OG.
There is a decent chance Nancy state loses two more games.
Not sure about Wake Florist though.
And remember, we have to win out!
