Positives from last night

Sep 5, 2021, 9:34 AM

After a night to sleep on it, here are so positive takeaways from last night:

Ruke and Tre Williams- played very well in Tyler Davis’s absence. Our depth at DT will be fine the rest of the way.

Jaylin Phillips, Andrew Mukuba and Joseph Charleston- Did an admirable job standing in for Nolan Turner. Again, added quality depth going forward.

Marcus Tate- Got his tail whipped at times, but we won’t play a better defensive front the rest of the regular season. Gained valuable snaps and experience last night.

Will Shipley- There’s so much more he can offer us offensively. We really need Tony Elliott to think outside the box and put him in the Amari Rodgers/Artavis Scott role as well as running back.

Hate to say it but Elliot has no imagination. Same 10 plays over and over. I would think it will be easy for future opponents to prepare for this offense.

I slept like a baby for 8 1/2 hrs then rose, alive, this morning thinking about how much God loves me and how fortunate I am to know that.

I am thinking the same.

Agreed. I don’t think we are a championship caliber team this year unless the o line improves at a massive scale. That could happen given their youth but I’m thinking we will be watching playoffs on TV.

had some nice catches last night. There were also some times wr and qb were on totally different pages on routes which was concerning .

Was going to make a similar post.

Add to this, Joseph Ngata!! He had shown flashes in the past but not a full solid game.

He showed out. Hopefully we start seeing every week. And hopefully Ladson will follow
