Poor DW4

He plays for the dumbest coach in the league, and that is saying something. First he trades away Clown show, then he trades Nuk for a Ham sandwich and a guy who gets 23 yards per game rushing. Brilliant! 0-4 coming up. Bad thing is, Watson locked up his contract so unless O'Brien gets canned after this year it's more of the same. SMH.

Matthew Stafford.
Watching Lions and Saints...I know he's a Dawg, but was just thinking how sorry I feel for him for being on a terrible team his whole time.

Maybe they out jet the Jets, draft Trevor and trade him for an offensive line. (and a few DB’s)

They can't. Bill O'Brien has screwed up the team so much as the general manager that the Texans don't have a first or second round pick. So they likely end up as one of the worst teams this year and don't have any picks with an aging roster and no cap space.

No 1st or 2nd round pick? Things will only get worse.

Pathetic watching the Texans. It’s like everyone sees the train wreck from a mile away yet the Texans continue to move ahead with blinders on.
Hate to see the waste of great talent like DW4. Will be hard to become a hall of famer with the likes of O’Brien leading the way.

O'Brien may have finally jumped the shark

with his handling of Hopkins trade (for 2nd round pick) after Clowney (for only 3rd round pick), giving a 3rd round pick for Duke Johnson, Tunsil (gave up 2 firsts & 1 second), 2nd rounder for D. Johnson, and 2nd rounder for Brandin Cooks. And rest assured Belichick would have traded popular JJ Watt for at least a number one and a two while he was still a star. That's just the beginning.
Look for Deshaun to start over next year with new coach and OC.

I don't feel sorry for DW-4. His contract will sooth a lot of ego pain.

My question is who was he listening to? O'brian is and has been an idiot. Watson signed the deal after all these trades. I am a Tiger fan for life and pull so hard for DW4, but this is all on him. Could've played this season and walked away from the crap show in Houston. Now he will be lucky if he finishes that contract without major injury. Took the payday but gave up a chance at a ring most likely.

He was probably listening to his agent telling him that he just got offered the second largest contract in terms of AAV in NFL history. Football is a job for DW4. Yeah winning a ring would be nice, but setting your family up so that your children's grandchildren never want for anything >>>> a superbowl ring.

Of all the words to describe DW I don't think poor is a good one. He made sure of that when he inked a $160M extension.

I’m not saying O’Brien isn’t an idiot, but it’s hard to blame him for the NUK trade. They just couldn’t afford the new contract that NUK was asking for and no other team in the league wanted to trade a ton of assets for NUK and then also turn around and pay him the contract that Arizona did. Arizona was only able to do it because their QB is only on the 2nd year of his rookie contract.

And they don't have a first round draft pick this next season. They traded a first and second rounder for that LT.
