Clemson's Top Wide Receivers

Clemson’s Top Wide Receivers
We continue our look at the top players by position that I have seen at Clemson (since 1974). Today is our look at receivers. Here are the top ten wide receivers I have seen at Clemson:

Can't really criticise your list, but would move up Artois one or two positions for the reasons you state. Most catches of any receiver. Also, his speed and quickness were significant in WR sweeps (remember against the coots) and kick/punt return duty.

I don't agree with the order. You really have to wonder, what if M. Williams had beed on the field in 2015 National Championship game? Had he not been hurt in 2015, we might have won back to back.

dust teams caught that amazing pass for the 49ers. His name is Dwight Clark! I think they threw to him less than a dozen times all year, however I witnessed one - a 50 yd. td against Maryland, I believe.

If Mike was not injured in 2015 he was expected to go pro at the end of that year and may not been here for 2016. The extra year of maturity both physically and mentally probably helped him place higher on this list.

Keep Hunter off this year and wait till he graduates and then you'll be putting him higher than #10.

We have had so many great WR's in recent years that this is indeed a very tricky list.

I like most of your picks, but my list is a bit different...

I would go with Mike Williams at #1 (or possibly #2) simply by how dominant he was. He owned Alabama in that game, and if we had had him the year before, I think we win that title, as well...The guy was just a man-child on the field and was incredibly key in our recent natty.

I love Sammy, so no question he is #1 or #2 all time for us....

Nuk is awesome, too - definitely top 3 all-time...

My biggest beef is not having Renfrow top 10...I mean, my God, what else does ha have to do??? Just cause he isn't the "prototype" looking player, his play speaks for itself...5 TDs in the Playoffs - 5!
Not only that, but he has the surest hands of any receiver to ever play at Clemson....The guy has so many clutch catches I can't even think of them all...To me, Renfrow STRONGLY deserves to be on the list...

Hoping after this season, Deon Cain has a strong argument, also!

Go Tigers.
