But who started the rumors? I can bet they didn’t come from Cade or his family, and they aren’t going to tell anyone at 24/7, because they don’t play games.

Those people are likely just other recruits (i.e. UGA prospects who also visited Athens this past weekend and are pumping the Mays to UGA narrative to inquiring Dawg writers).

I hate to say it but it sounds like there is more to it now. Dhood and QT are both saying there are indicators that he is going dawg.

Agreed! And to be clear . I want Mays here as well. But we have some great lineman already here . And we will find another for this class as well.
Missing on some are just part of the deal.

I do agree that we have some very good OL...I just don't think we have the type that can play LT...Thats my overall concern...We got plenty that play RT or Guard....
Hopefully Simpson or Pollard can slide over and be effective in the event Mitch decides to declare....Which i hope he doesn't...

Mildly disagree. Anchrum will play LT and Pollard RT. Even if Mays were to come, I dont think he beats out Anchrum next season. Mays projects as a guard on the next level. I think the potential hole could be at guard if Hearn doesn’t come back. We’re already losing Crowder and Morris there.

What leads you to believe Anchrum can hold down the left side? It'd be one thing if he surged past Pollard and took a hold of the RT job, but that hasn't been the case. Both of those guys have had some rough patches. Anchrum is no shoo-in and I think an early-enrollee Mays surpasses him.

What have you been watching? Anchrum has played starter snaps all season, alternating at both tackles. Not to mention the valuable snaps he got last year, even vs Bama in the national championship game. So Caldwell is gonna bench a tackle with 3 years experience for a freshman? Keep dreaming.
