PLEASE, don't need TU's (aka Kudos) but please consider others..

Apr 10, 2022, 11:54 AM

who deserve or might want/need them (at least for their effort of sharing)..especially when you read a post that was informative, interesting, reflective, creative, funny, etc.

Maybe it's me (since a former student sports reporter/writer at Clemson in mid 60's and realize the effort, time & passion involved) but I figure it's still worth saying thanks to a TNet buddy who's written a post and all we have to do is simply push our little finger down on the TU uP button on his/her post so to let them know we cared & appreciated their effort.

I remember ole JOE21 when he kept posting up to two weeks before dying at age 99.999 and how posting to us "must have been" very important to him and maybe therapy too..

by telling us he'd fallen 3 times & went to hospital, lost 30+ Lbs, was weak and his Doc didn't have any answers..and how he was concerned his long-awaited 100th Birthday Party at the Maddren Center with hundreds in attendance from all over the World might have to be cancelled..

but JOE kept cracking out posts about WW2 & Korea, his wanting to publish his finished manuscript, sharing those little tidbits of humor, wisdom & personal Faith plus showing us his personal loyalty & love for CLEMSON.

Long-winded and maybe not a good example of why giving another person a simple bit of your time with a thx can be important (as David Hood's POTD article yesterday emphasized Dabo's "giving a TU " in effect and in person to lowly workers loading up a truck in cold weather after the Spring game..and one worker exclaimed to a buddy later that not one head coach had ever spoken a single word of appreciation to him/them in all those years!).

So please understand that we at TNet may have given JOE21 some instant needed support & comfort thru our TU's when he was dying by saying indirectly that we cared for, appreciated & loved him for his years of unselfish effort & sharing of posts..

thus a simple TU or thx from you & me could give Another Soul encouragement, dignity, a sense of accomplishment, well-being, positiveness during a down time when they post knowledge or feelings concerning sports or anything Clemson, etc.

OK, got that lack of TU's thing for deserving others off my back and know I actually TU too often to some of you slackers & comedics but what can a softie do!

GoTiGERS..Jeep ROCKing & TUing! ??

PS: Meant to mention your thinking about TUing the staff writers too when they submit an article on the main page..like from Hood, Rink, Kantor or Staff since it affects them & the site personally by letting them know how we feel and what we like.

WOW. I'd say this is definitely POTD worthy, whether you want/need them. Please keep posting YOUR stories and thoughts too. If it touches or makes just 3 people's day, what a wonderful contribution that is.

You Sir is what eptomizes everything good that lil ole Clemson stands for!

, I've decided to re-think my point distribution strategy. I believe this week I am only going to ONLY point posts where people insert themselves into the narrative. It is going to be a busy week.

I told him I’d slow down the TD’s, not stop completely.

Yea, Idk. Think is the mad drunky-oldman clan again.

Well that was just a lovely post. And I'd love to know who gave you the TD?? Personally, I'd love to give you a big hug. Guys like Joe21 are few and far between.

I wanted to give you 10 TU's, but...

Apr 10, 2022, 4:27 PM

...when I read all the stuff at the end it seemed better to give you 1 and spread the rest out to the others that replied to this post. ??
