This won't be a popular opinion but like it or not the coots may be responsible for keeping us from the playoffs, ending our home win streak, and rivalry win streak all in one game. That alone should make you want changes within the program.

Just saying it with the hopes some of our fans recognize the on field product is not up to the Clemson standard. For some reason that concept is hard to fathom.

We would’ve been blown out by UGA in the CFP.

We knew halfway into the season that Clemson wasn’t a playoff caliber team.

Agree 100%. A lot of arguments about how another "10 win season" is a success story seem to be prevalent though.

I agree that there are a lot of arguments that 10 wins is a success. But, it is a weak argument after being at the pinnacle.

We did more to keep us out of the playoffs than anyone. This team did not have it and ND totally exposed us.

No a lack of talent is the issue.

Then how do you get commitments after seeing this atrocious offense 2 years in a row? Great players aren't going to want to play in this scheme, or lack of scheme. We may be short talent in spots but that doesnt excuse an entire season (or 2 going back to last year) for struggling against inferior competition.

The standard is not winning every game. Nobody does that. It’s unrealistic.
Seems reasonable to take a step back and a deep breath and realize we have a wonderful thing going at Clemson. Every game is not perfect. Every player is not perfect. Every coach is not perfect. Every season can’t be perfect. However on balance, we are in the golden era of Clemson football and overreacting is how we hasten the end of this golden era.

Im not naive enough to expect an undefeated season and national title every year. I do expect that after 2 straight down years we reexamine our scheme and staff. The perception seems to be that offensive innovation has been replaced with complaceny and arguably arrogance. I appreciate the run we're on and dont care to see it end which is why i hope to see some changes. Bulding success is incredibly difficult, maintaining it is even tougher.

It wouldnt be the first or last time in my life I've been incorrect. Seeing some of these other offenses play seems like we've been left in the dust.
