they had 4-5* RB leave for the portal exact same time as he was to be visiting them, which opened up a spot for him.

Sadder part is he wasn’t high on anyone’s radar (Colorado, etc) til Clemson offered him and then all hail broke loose and now Georgia wanted him.

They know they rule the RBU title over Clemson and maybe did this just to keep us in line.

Spot on as usual.

I liked the kid and thought in a year he'd break into the 2 deep. His blocking ability for a freshman is off the charts. That said, I truly believe he was torn until today. I also believe he'll never see meaningful minutes with uga. Maybe if he stays, he'll be used on blocking downs... But when uga reels in the next new stud back in 23, Paul will be relegated down again. Wouldn't shock me if he's portal 2 years.

Personally, as much as I wanted him in Clemson, his best choice would have been Colorado or better, tcu. He could start day 1 at either school. His loss. And imo, his mistake.
